Minor creasing, rubbing on covers, else fine softcover copy in a nice matching box. Aunt Hattie wrote a short list of names in elaborate cursive penmanship on the back side of the box, the box has light rubbing and a short partial split on one side. Margaret Hill McCarter was a Kansas author; many of her books were inspired by the Solomon River Valley area where she lived.
